QuickBite SF – Hyperlocal Food Delivery App

Project Overview

QuickBite Inc. was formed by a collective of 85 premium San Francisco restaurants united by the goal of reclaiming delivery revenue from Uber Eats and DoorDash, who were charging 25–35% commission on every order.

The Challenge

Restaurants were losing profitability on delivery orders despite strong demand, with no data on their customers, no control over the customer experience, and no brand presence — just a listing on a third-party platform.

Our Solution

We built a fully branded food delivery ecosystem giving restaurants complete ownership:

• iOS and Android consumer app with restaurant discovery, live order tracking, and ratings
• Restaurant management dashboard for menu management, order fulfilment, and analytics
• Driver app with optimised route navigation and earnings tracking
• Loyalty rewards program with points accumulation across all participating restaurants
• Push notification system for order updates, promotions, and re-engagement campaigns

Key Results

• Platform commission savings totalling $280,000 in the first year across 85 restaurants
• App reached 45,000 active downloads within 6 months of launch
• Average delivery time of 28 minutes — faster than major competitor platforms
• Repeat order rate of 67% demonstrating strong customer loyalty to the app
