RentEase Denver – Property Management App
All-in-one property management mobile app for a Denver company managing 340 rental units, featuring online rent payment, maintenance ticketing, lease management, and owner financial reports.
Client
RentEase LLC, Denver, CO
Project Overview
RentEase, a property management company in Denver managing 340 residential units across 18 properties, needed a modern mobile solution to replace their phone-and-email-based operations that were failing tenants and owners alike.
The Challenge
Managing maintenance requests, rent collection, and tenant communications manually was creating chaos. Rent cheques arrived late, maintenance took weeks, and property owners had no real-time visibility into their investment performance.
Our Solution
We built a dual-sided mobile app serving both tenants and property managers:
- Online rent payment with ACH, debit, and credit card options plus automated receipts
- Maintenance ticket system with photo uploads, status tracking, and vendor assignment
- Digital lease signing with DocuSign integration and secure document storage
- Owner dashboard with real-time income, expense, and occupancy reporting
- Automated rent reminders, late fee calculation, and arrears escalation workflows
Key Results
- Rent collection efficiency improved by 89% — late payments reduced from 28% to 3% monthly
- Average maintenance resolution time cut by 62% from 14 days to 5.3 days
- Tenant satisfaction score reached 4.7 out of 5 in post-launch survey
- Property vacancy rate reduced by 15% as reputation and renewals improved
Technologies Used
React Native, Laravel REST API, MySQL, Stripe ACH, DocuSign, Firebase Push, AWS S3, PDF Reports
