QuickMunch was formed by 68 Leicester independent restaurants determined to break free from Deliveroo and Just Eat's 30–35% commission structure — a rate that was making delivery operations unprofitable for many.
The Challenge
The collective had no technology, no brand, and no way to coordinate. They needed a platform that could match the convenience of established delivery apps while rallying Leicester food lovers around local restaurant solidarity.
Our Solution
We built a community-driven food delivery ecosystem from the ground up in 12 weeks:
- iOS and Android consumer app with restaurant discovery, cuisine filtering, and dietary requirement tags
- Restaurant partner dashboard for menu management, order processing, and earnings analytics
- Driver cooperative management system with fair earnings distribution and performance bonuses
- Community loyalty scheme earning points spendable at any QuickMunch restaurant
- Real-time order tracking with 5-minute delivery window accuracy and driver communication
